Juan Camilo Vergara

Specialist in the history of France, Russia and Central Asia. Juan Camilo studied his undergraduate degree in history at the Sorbonne University in Paris and his master's degree in history at the School of Higher Studies in Social Sciences, Paris. Later, he decided to settle in Saint Petersburg to complete a Ph.D. research in 19th century Russian history.

Two years ago, Juan Camilo returned to Bogotá, his hometown, after twelve years of living in France and Russia. His knowledge of European and Middle Eastern history, as well as his travels and personal experiences, have made his lectures a haven for hundreds of history buffs in Colombia.
