The Colombian Chamber of Commerce in San Diego is proud to present Angela Lombrozo

Founder of My Brain Buddies.

Born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia, Angela moved to San Diego at age 12, carrying with her a profound love for culture, community, and the transformative power of representation. Inspired by her family’s own neurodivergent journey, she founded My Brain Buddies a mission-driven company that creates 100% organic, non-toxic plush companions and bilingual educational storybooks designed to celebrate and support neurodiversity.

Every product is intentionally crafted to help children, especially those in underserved and Spanish-speaking communities feel truly seen, understood, and valued.

A Certified Peer Mentor with the Tourette Association of America, Angela passionately supports families navigating Tourette Syndrome while advancing broader awareness and education around neurodiversity.

Her commitment to positive impact goes far beyond beautiful toys and books. By partnering with women-led artisan cooperatives in Latin America for sustainable and ethical manufacturing, My Brain Buddies empowers female artisans, eliminates harmful chemicals from children’s products, and sets a new standard for responsible production.

With a successful 12-year career in real estate and a degree in Criminology (minor in Sociology) from Cal State San Marcos, Angela brings discipline, empathy, and entrepreneurial vision to everything she does. She lives a vibrant, holistic life in San Diego with her husband, two daughters, their dog, and a flock of beloved backyard chickens. An active community volunteer with multiple organizations, Angela is dedicated to building a world where every child has a “brain buddy” that reflects their unique brilliance and a story that reminds them they are perfectly, wonderfully themselves.
