The Consulate of Colombia in Los Angeles is located in the city of Beverly Hills (8383 Wilshire Boulevard. Suite 420, 90211) and has southern California and the states of Arizona and New Mexico within its constituency.

While the health crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic lasts, the Consulate of Colombia in Los Angeles will have public service hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, ONLY BY APPOINTMENT.

Survival procedures for older adults and permission to leave Colombia for minors with imminent travel are excepted from appointment. Similarly, emergencies will be attended to on a case-by-case basis for issuance of emergency passports and preparation of death records, indicate your urgency at the entrance, to the official who attends the entrance to the Consulate.

The Colombian Chamber of Commerce in San Diego, has participated in a voluntary capacity with the Consulate, We have been facilitators and disseminators of their Mobile days and their activities in the elections and referendus  there have been.  Everything has been requested by the Consulate. We are not an official entity and only  

we follow their official emitions.

The official data of mobile consulates dates are published by all social networks,

local press, Univisión San Diego, and all the heads of groups of ours Including the house of Colombia.

On July 20, the date of the cosular day was publicly disclosed to the audience of compatriots in Balboa Park, additionally we generated flyers, to cover all those who do not have access to the network.

  1. Check your polling place at:  https://wsp.registraduria.gov.co/censo/consultar/

 

  1. As of November 3, 2021, download the App of the Voter Registration Office on your mobile device and make your biometric registration by selecting "CONSULATES" in the Department and following the process as indicated on the platform, or,

  2. Present yourself with your citizenship card (yellow with holograms or digital) or with your Colombian passport, before the registration deadlines during public service hours (no appointment required):

Congressional elections on March 13, 2022, the registration deadline is January 13, 2022.

Elections for President and Vice President of May 29, 2022, the registration deadline is March 29, 2022.

  1. The registration of the identification card to vote is different from the consular registration. The registration of the identity card at the Consulate can be carried out with the citizenship card (yellow with holograms or digital) or with the Colombian passport. However, the only valid document to exercise the right to vote is the original citizenship card in accordance with the provisions of Law 39 of 1961.

If your identity card is already registered to vote at the Consulate of your greatest convenience, a new registration is not required.
