Congressional elections on March 13, 2022, the registration deadline is January 13, 2022.

Elections for President and Vice President of May 29, 2022, the registration deadline is March 29, 2022.

The registration of the identification card to vote is different from the consular registration. The registration of the identity card at the Consulate can be carried out with the citizenship card (yellow with holograms or digital) or with the Colombian passport. However, the only valid document to exercise the right to vote is the original citizenship card in accordance with the provisions of Law 39 of 1961.

If your identity card is already registered to vote at the Consulate of your greatest convenience, a new registration is not required.
